Is Chicago about to become a 2 team city?

Lots of sources are now claiming that Chicago’s own Jerry Reinsdorf is becoming the most likely candidate to save from bankruptcy purchase the Phoenix Coyotes.

There’s really no way in hell that Reinsdorf is moving the Coyotes here, should he acquire them, but it is fun to dream. No, if he does purchase them and on the off chance he does move them, I’d almost hope for him to move them back to Winnipeg. (Who’s brilliant idea was it to move the Coyotes to Phoenix in the first place? “Hey, it’s 105 degrees there year round, they could use a hockey team!” I understand that the team was operating in a small market and was failing financially, but moving them to Phoenix obviously didn’t work much better.)

I’m pulling for old Reiny to get the team and move them to a city that experiences ice.

I loathe look forward to watching the U.S. Cellular Coyotes sometime soon.
